We have been very lucky to have been selected for six sessions with The Young Artist Musical Ambassadors via Oxford University, who are doing a project of interaction between young professional musicians and the elderly.
For our first session we pleased to welcome Nigel Osbourne a renowned composer who played the guitar, sang and guided us through the real Von Trapp Story from the Sound of Music fame! Not only did he do that but he also sang to us in several different languages! An amazing man.
We were also entertained by Maz who played the guitalele and the Shruti box. Maz also sang some beautiful ballads and sea shanties.
Thank you to Chika Robertson for the arrangements & Lyudmila Nurse for putting our care home forward.
We all cant wait until next Tuesday!
